Haitian relief organized by Alex Wirth, Santa Fe Prep Junior

EDITOR'S NOTE:  This is not a usual post for my Grassroots! site. But I believe the relief effort initiated by Alex Wirth for the horrendous catastrophe that has hit Haiti deserves note.

I have led an effort on my (Santa Fe Prep) student council to organize a response and would invite you all to donate. An online donation to Mercy Corps emergency response team: www.mercycorps.org/fundraising/sfpstudentcouncil will help us reach a fundraising goal of $3,000 dollars for the people in the region. League of Women Voters of Santa Fe County will prepare their Municipal Election Voters' Guide to be published in the January 22 issue of The New Mexican.
